Pink talks about ‘excruciating pain’, hospitalization and canceled shows

Pink has opened up about her battle with dehydration and gastric virus which led to her hospitalization and show cancellation.

According to Today, the pop star apologized to fans and opened up about her frustrations after having to miss Monday’s “Beautiful Trauma” tour stop in Sydney due to what event promoter Live Nation said in a statement was dehydration and a gastric virus.

“On Monday, we were planning on going ahead with the show, and about 20 minutes before I left for soundcheck, I was rushed to the hospital, in excruciating pain,” she wrote on Instagram. “That was the reason for the late cancellation. It was out of anyone’s control, and of course, wasn’t planned that way.”

She was discharged from St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney on Monday night and is currently resting and making sure to get plenty of fluids.

“A lot of you know how physical my shows are, and that I don’t just stand in front a microphone and sing,” she wrote. “Therefore, I need to be physically healthy and well in order to perform this show. I think all of you deserve the full show and me at my best.”

Pink, 38, says she will be recovered in time for her next show on Saturday in Sydney. She is spending her recovery time with her two children and husband Carey Hart.

Last week she clapped back at an Australian tabloid criticizing her for canceling a show in Byron Bay on Aug. 3 by insinuating she was not sick and was instead frolicking on the beach with her family.

Family of girl with special needs asked to leave theater because of loud breathing

A family claims they were asked to leave a Huntington, W.Va. movie theater after a patron complained about the loud breathing of their 12-year-old daughter, who has special needs

According to The News Center, Charlie’s parents were asked to leave because she was making too much noise. Apparently, Charlie is a victim of the shaken baby syndrome which rendered her quadriplegic and blind.

Charlie’s parents, Shannon Davis and her wife Gina have four adopted children. They adopted 12-year-old Charlie four years ago.

On Saturday night, the family went to see Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom at the Huntington Mall Cinemark.

“She loves to go to the movies,” Shannon said. “It’s her favorite thing because they offer audio described headsets.”

Shannon says they were seated in the handicap section, and a man was sitting directly in front of them.

“She can’t talk, so she wasn’t vocalizing or yelling, but she was breathing fast,” Shannon said. “She was very excited to get to do her favorite thing.”

She says the man seated in front of them complained to the manager that the girl was making too much noise.

About 30 minutes into the movie, an employee came into the theater and told them they needed to leave.

“He said her breathing was too much for everybody I guess and we needed to leave,” Shannon said. “It broke my heart.”

The parents say they were offered a refund and to come back for a private screening, but they say that is not good enough.

“We just want the precedent set and maybe for them to teach their employees how to handle the situation better in the future,” Shannon said.

Lindsay Lohan criticizes #MeToo

Lindsay Lohan criticized women who have spoken up about sexual misconduct in Hollywood in a series of contradictory remarks during an interview with The Times.

“If it happens at that moment, you discuss it at that moment,” she said. “You make it a real thing by making it a police report.”

Lohan said that the women who have spoken about their experiences with sexual harassment and abuse appear weak despite being strong people, and that many women — especially young women — speak out for the attention despite the fact that they “don’t know who they are.”

“I can’t speak on something I don’t live, right?” she said in an apparent acknowledgement that her comments had been made in error. “Look, I am very supportive of women.”

Lohan was also supportive of Harvey Weinstein when news of his widespread sexual assault broke. She posted a video on Instagram in October 2017 coming to his defense and encouraging his then-wife Georgina Chapman to stand up for him. Chapman and Weinstein have since divorced.

“I don’t think it’s right what’s going on,” Lohan said in the now-deleted video. She later clarified her comments, saying that she felt it better to deal with the accusations via police intervention and not through the media.

Lohan is currently in Mykonos, Greece to film a new MTV reality show, “Lohan Beach Club,” which will follow her as she runs her beach bar and nightclub on the island. The show is scheduled to premiere in 2019.

Carrie Underwood is pregnant with baby No. 2: ‘We’re over the moon

Carrie Underwood has big plans for 2019. According to Yahoo Entertainment, the singer posted a video informing her fans about her upcoming “Cry Pretty” 360 Tour, which will kick off next May in support of her new album of the same name, which drops on Sept. 14.

But it turns out she has another big project in the making: a second baby with her husband, Mike Fisher.

“You might be wondering, or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’” Underwood teased in the video. “Well. …”

At that point, the camera pulls back to reveal balloons spelling the word “baby.”

“Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond,” the 35-year-old singer shared. “This has just been a dream come true with the album and the baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited, and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us.”

Underwood married NHL star Fisher in 2010; their son, Isaiah, is 3. Underwood recently spoke to Redbook about wanting to have more children.

“I’m 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family,” she told the magazine, though the comment was later criticized because it suggested women over 35 are too old to conceive. “We always talk about adoption, and about doing it when our child or children are a little older.”

Underwood did not reveal her due date in the video message.

Bieber and Hailey get emotional inside a NYC coffee shop

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have been the perfect picture of bliss ever since getting engaged on July 7. But the pair looked far from happy as they were photographed having a super emotional conversation inside a New York City coffee shop that left both of them weeping!

According to Hollywood Life, their engagement still seems on as Hailey was still wearing her gorgeous diamond ring from Justin, but these weren’t tears of joy. They were photographed on Aug. 7 looking super sad as Justin and Hailey stared into each other’s watery eyes and at one point the Biebs reached over and cradled Hailey’s head in his hands. The emotional roller coaster started when the pair went on a bike ride through Central Park where they were seen weeping on a park bench and going through some seriously difficult emotions. From there the tear festival continued on during their meal at a coffee shop.

Today marks the one month anniversary since the pair got engaged in the Bahamas. It should be a joyful day for Justin and Hailey but they literally spent the afternoon in tears! While they were on the bike ride, Justin appeared to be the one having a moment, putting his hands up to his face to wipe away the waterworks. He even had his head down while running his hands through his hair out of frustration while still atop his bike as a concerned Hailey looked on.

After they put their bikes down and sat on a curb she could be seen reaching over to support the singer as he again covered his face to let out his emotions. Then whatever he was going through got her worked up as she was pictured planting her face into her hand to cover up her own weepy ways.

Angelina Jolie seeks ‘meaningful’ child support from Brad Pitt

Angelina and Brad Pitt’s divorce just got messier. According to documents obtained by Good Morning America, the actress is seeking formal child support from her estranged husband, claiming he has not financially contributed in a “meaningful” way to their six children’s well-being since their 2016 separation.

Jolie’s attorneys claimed in the filing that the former couple had “informal arrangements” for the payment of the children’s expenses, but stated that Pitt had not adhered to those guidelines.

“Pitt has a duty to pay child support,” Jolie’s attorney Samantha Bley DeJean wrote in a two-page brief filed in Los Angeles Superior Court. “As of present, he has paid no meaningful child support since separation.

“Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children’s expenses have not been regularly sustained by Pitt for over a year and a half, Jolie intends to file a request for a court order for the establishment of a retroactive child support order.” The filing did not define or elaborate on what is meant by “meaningful” support.

“Brad has fulfilled his financial commitments, so it’s unfortunate that anyone would misrepresent the situation and continue to play this out in the press,” a close friend told ABC News.

“The aim of Angelina’s routine court filing is to provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children,” her spokeswoman, Mindy Nyby, told “Good Morning America” in a statement.

Fourth suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder surrenders to police

The last suspect police were seeking in the murder of rapper XXXTentacion surrendered at his lawyer’s office, Broward County authorities said Tuesday evening.

According to CNN, Trayvon Newsome was booked in the Broward County Jail on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. CNN could not immediately establish the name of his attorney.

XXXTentacion, whose given name was Jahseh Onfroy, was gunned down June 18 in an apparent robbery as he left a motorsports store in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Also arrested in the case were Robert Allen, Dedrick Devonshay Williams, and Michael Boatwright.

The rapper skyrocketed to fame after his song “Look at Me” went viral in 2016. He was featured in XXL magazine’s 2017 freshman class alongside other up-and-coming artists, and his album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts when it was released in March.

His death prompted an outpouring of grief on social media from other prominent rappers such as Big Sean and Kanye West.

Last month, a Broward County grand jury indicted the four men on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.

Boatwright and Newsome were the two armed suspects who confronted the rapper when he was shot and killed, the sheriff’s office said.

Boatwright discharged the weapon, killing Onfroy, according to the indictment.

According to an affidavit for Boatwright’s arrest warrant, XXXTentacion was robbed of $50,000 that he had tucked into a small Louis Vuitton bag in his BMW when he was shot and killed. He had just withdrawn the money- all $100 bills in bank wrappers-before going to the motorsports store.

‘Mighty Ducks’ star Shaun Weiss arrested for public intoxication

Shaun Weiss, the “Mighty Ducks” star actor, was arrested over the weekend for public intoxication, Fox News has confirmed.

Part of the statement released by Oroville Public Safety Department said Weiss, 39, “was arrested for being under the influence of drugs” at about 12:47 a.m. on Saturday, August 4 in Oroville, Calif. He was allegedly high on drugs and acting bizarrely with a flashlight

Officers on patrol picked Weiss when they found him and three others outside a closed business complex in Oroville, Calif. After talking with the others in his group, authorities determined that Weiss was high on drugs. The Heavy Weights star was held behind bars for a few hours until he sobered up and was released without charges. It’s unclear what he was supposedly on and no blood sample was ordered. Amused officers said Weiss was “witty” while in custody.

However, Weiss’s mug shot does not look pretty. The actor appears disheveled and thin, looking much older than 38. His condition has concerned fans on social media.

This is not the first time Weiss is falling foul of the law. In July 2017, the actor was arrested for stealing $151 in merchandise from Fry’s Electronics. He pled no contest to petty theft and was sentenced to serve 150 days in a Los Angeles County jail. He ended up serving 12 days due to overcrowding. Previously, the actor had been arrested on drug-related charges including meth possession.

Apart from featuring in “Mighty Ducks” franchise, which lasted three movies, Weiss previously was featured in “Heavyweights,” “Freaks and Geeks,” “The King of Queens” and “The Tony Danza Show.”

Elderly men escape from nursing home to attend heavy metal festival

You are never too old to sneak out for your favorite music festival. That is what two elderly men proved when they sneaked out of a nursing home Friday to attend Wacken Open Air music festival.

However, their absence was duly noted as the nursing home called the police to report them missing, according to People.

Police finally caught up with the two escapees 25 miles from the nursing home at the festival about Merle Neufeld, a police spokesperson, told German outlet Deutsche Welle they were “disoriented and dazed.”

However, the men were not eager to go back to the nursing home and had to be escorted back to the home with a taxi and a patrol car.

Peter Berndt, another spokesperson for the police department, said the two men likely made it to the festival by foot and public transportation.

“They were then taken to the medical tent on the festival site and were sent back by taxi at around 6:30 a.m.,” Berndt told the newspaper. “We had to explain to them why they had to go home-but in the end, they went back voluntarily.”

When a fan alerted Wacken Open Air about the incident, their Twitter account said it did not discriminate against seniors.

According to Deutsche Welle, the world-renowned festival sold out with an expected attendance of 75,000 people. Headline acts included Danzig, Judas Priest, Hatebreed and In Flames.
