Supplements and Alcohol May Not Be a Good Idea
If your idea is to stay healthy, you may want to abstain from drinking. Different prescriptions and health supplements actually alter the way your body works. If you’re drinking alcohol, this might be a one-two punch with you feeling awful the next day.
Your Liver Just Can’t Keep Up

A good rule of thumb is to drink a glass of water between each shot of liquor or cocktail. It usually takes your body an hour to process the alcohol. If you’re drinking a good amount of water throughout the night to keep your body hydrated, you’ll have a better chance of avoiding a nasty hangover.
Junk Food Is a Bad Idea
While you may have gone on that 7/11 or late-night slice of pizza after hitting the bar, it may not work well as you age. Remember, it takes the body a lot to process food (especially fatty foods). This may have an adverse effect of getting rid of the alcohol.
